Peace of Male' today is on the hands of gangsters. Groups, Crowds and Gangs in Male' has suddenly changed towards terror. In the past few years, there has been deaths due to gang fights but not as many as it has been recently happening. Gangsters has been bugging around and fights just in the aim of beating someone, not killing him.

Today "Kill Him" is the main motive and the blood sheds on the streets. This began from the death of Ali Ishar (Choatey) on 2 DEC 2007 who was stabbed and beaten to death. Following with gang fights related and not related to the incident. Capital Gangsters today think in a way to finish their opponents. Then the opponents gang's wild beasts waits for a chance to take revenge.

The next death was a 14 year old boy Shifau who was stabbed and died after 1 week in a coma fighting for life in IGMH on 14th April 2008. The reason is unknown but the wounds are brutal.

Male' tries to celebrate the BODU eid and the next story of the series flash up. Samir was dead on Janavary Magu on 8th Dec 2008. He was killed by beating until making sure that he was dead. The public can only do is look and shout as loud as they can. These gangsters are too powerful to face. It feels so hapless to see someone being killed in front of our eyes.

It sadly true that the police is not capable of locking these people up. Most of them are MARKED as killers and roam around the capital fearlessly. Even when anyone can meet these people, the Maldives Police stays unable to arrest them after weeks and month. Even after they get caught, with unknown reason they are sent back to public to repeat the same MISTAKE. Hope it may not be the same this time. These cases are now being carried out. The Justice is now on the hand of Attorney General and Judges.

Gangs are now involved in nothing but drugs and violence today and the peace of Male' is on the hand of these people. Weapons are now becoming these peoples toys. A show or a local event, there is no chance of it going peacefully. The only persons who can command these are the leaders of these groups or gang leaders, who sometimes stay above the law, has the power to keep this city in peace and without violence.

When there is a fight there is always someone to take revenge, and revenge has the same effect. So let have peace in our hearts and create a terror free environment.

Dj's got banned in Maldives less than 24hr to new year 2009 when there are the most number of Dj,s in Male'. Minister of Islamic Affairs of the Maldives republic stated such dirty events are not religious and should no longer be permitted since he has been receiving complains of Dj's that is going to occur on the new years night.

Sad but true, decisions are made suddenly and acted really strange in recent days. Who is going to take responsibility of heavy losses to the organizers of the events ? It is very un-lawful that such decisions that involves a huge amount of money and people are taken with a short adjustment period.

Boduashi (2005) formed as a 24/7 mIRC active channel for youth, developed to an online community forum in early 2006 and continued as a social community. Surprisingly with 15,000 users within 3 months.On 2007 Boduashi became a WAREZ forum until it was ban for violation TOS of hostgater.com mistakenly in mid 2008.

Boduashi refers to a traditional concrete bench used in Maldives. Maldivians used to gather in boduashi for chitchat, sing, laugh and have fun. It was used in daily life and was a common area for daily time pass.

Today, in the developed Maldives a "Boduashi" is difficult to find. Our team has taken the name and used it in a virtual community which is similar to boduashi for present youth.
